Fiberglass wallpaper

In no industry, technology is not on the spot. This also applies to the industrial production industry. Each type of wallpaper known today has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, paper wallpapers are considered environmentally friendly, but they quickly lose their color, break, pollute. Silkrography or vinyl wallpaper is more durable and durable, but they do not allow the walls to “breathe” the walls. Well, natural wallpaper at a price is not very affordable.

In our country, they began to produce wallpaper made of glass fiber – they cannot be called a novelty, so the first batch of wallpaper was released back in 1931 in Germany. Wallpaper made of fiberglass appreciated – environmental cleanliness, t. e. allow the walls to “breathe”, do not become infected with fungi and mold, do not require special care, do not accumulate dust, as they have antistatic properties.

For gluing you can use any surface-whether it is wood, brick, drywall, fiberboard or concrete. The additional economic advantage of such wallpaper is that any surface on which they are glued does not need thorough puttying.

Glass wallpaper spin on special weaving machines made of glassons of various density and thicknesses obtained from natural materials. Various weaving methods allow you to diversify the pattern and texture of the wallpaper.

The ability to dye glass during the production of glassons allows you to have a wide color scheme of the produced wallpaper, capable of satisfying the most demand consumer. The guaranteed service life of the wallpaper reaches about 30 years, during which the wallpaper can be repainted into other colors at least 20 times (you agree, this is impressive).

Separately, such an important property of glass wallpaper should be noted as the fact that they do not burn and do not support combustion. Therefore, they are used not only for pasting residential or office premises, but also used in places designed to evacuate people in case of fire. Even in case of fire, they do not distinguish harmful substances.

Particular attention should be paid to the fact that you should not confuse glass wallpaper and glass wool. In the production of glass wallpaper, completely different safe materials are used, and the production process itself is also different. The glass wallpaper is securely fixed on the walls, since during production they are impregnated with a special composition based on modified starch.

And after gluing on the wall, the impregnation is dissolved and mixed with glue, which ensures reliable fixing on the surface. And also thanks to such impregnation of glass -fiber wallpaper, a pure microclimate is supported in the room. Such wallpapers will help protect the walls from various damage that pets can cause.

Fiberglass wallpaper is an original decorative material that can decorate and transform any room and give it a magnificent and exquisite look. The most common drawings are “Christmas tree”, “mobbled”, “rhombus”. But recently, the development of designers with original patterns appeared and at the request of the client are made with various symbols.

Glass wallpaper can be painted, but when choosing a paint, you need to pay attention to such a characteristic as wear resistance. Acrylic paint is better for such purposes, it will provide the “gloss” of the picture.
