Glass cutters will make glass of the desired shape

To cut glass, you need glass cutter. Which diamond or roller? It is preferable, still a diamond, its cutting part is a diamond stone, as it will be, depends on the thickness of the glass that you process. How long the diamond is, it is difficult to judge, the term of its work is due to the correct use. Follow the following rules: do not touch the diamond of solid objects, for example, if it is metal, stone, and so on. You can not work with glass if it is contaminated.

Make sure that the diamond slides in a straight line, and do not neglect devices such as a ruler or template. When the work is just started, do not touch the glass edges, and when you completed the case, you also need to clean the diamond from the surface very carefully.

Pay attention to the sound, if the process goes wrong, a creak, scratching is heard. Diamond stone has many faces that can cut. And if one line wears out, then the stone can be moved. It is strengthened in a new position with tin, but the stone may fall during operation. So that this does not happen, the tin layer is protected by copper plate. There is a hole in it, and such a plate can be soldered after the diamond stone is installed.

Glass cutter can be single -roller, three -roller, six -rose or diamond. Any of them can be cut glass. The glass cuts directly, for the manufacture of which a hard alloy is used, it is called tungsten carbide. If the windshields are multi -faced, then a replacement for the spare version is possible.

Do not forget to apply a turpentine on the cut line when the glass cutter is in operation. This is done by a tampon of fabric, or with a brush.
