Having decided to transform your apartment and paint the walls yourself, it is necessary to remember the important rule – it is customary to paint the walls in a certain order. First you need to paint a strip with a brush of 15-20 cm above and below the wall. The remaining space is painted with a roller, while the roller must be fed from top to bottom, and then from the bottom up and painted the surface of the wall in small areas. The wall can be painted in several layers, with multi -layer coloring, the first layer is located vertically, and the second – horizontally.
If you decide to make repairs in the apartment and you need to paint the walls, then, first of all, you should choose a good and reliable tool that you are going to do this. The walls can be painted with a roller or brush. The roller can be foam, fur or velorov, with a long or short pile. The working surface of the tool can be wide or narrow. It should be borne in mind that the temperature when painting the surfaces of the walls should be in the range from +5 ° C to +20 ° C, the humidity should not exceed 80%. At high temperatures, the paint will dry quickly, without having time to distribute on the surface of the wall. When painting walls, you should not neglect the advice of experienced malyars, which will help you quickly and efficiently do your job. In order for the pile of the roller for coloring to be softer, you need to soak it in the water for 1-2 hours before starting work. You need to pour paint from the jar into a special tray with a rental and a roller to dwell already in the tray – the paint will be applied more evenly, and the color of the walls will not take much time. If the paint is applied to the wall in several layers, then for the first layer it is worth using a more liquid variety. In comparison with the consistency of the original paint, it must be diluted in a ratio of 1: 5. Also, do not forget that the painted room should be cleaned of dust – otherwise, it will be almost impossible to get rid of it later.
