During the construction of a house on a swampy area, you must always be ready for the fact that there will be a lot of difficulties, troubles and even problems. Not so long ago, any construction “in the swamp” was considered almost unrealistic, and it was impossible to find the masters who would have taken up for this. Everything fundamentally changed with the advent of screw piles and technologies that allow them to make the installation of the foundation in almost any place, whether it is swampy areas, old peats, soft, silty soils and even individual reservoirs. As you know, any swampy area is, first of all, a very high level of groundwater. The reason for this may be lakes, ponds, rivers, frequent atmospheric precipitation, which lead to soil saturation in the surrounding area underground waters. This is especially evident in the spring and autumn period, when the upper layers of the soil are very saturated with water. This is the so -called seasonal water accumulation period. The installation technology of a pile-screw foundation allows you to completely pass the layer saturated with water and strengthen the piles on a strong basis. If the length of the pile turned out to be short, then it is easily increased by such a length that will allow soft soil to pass, relieved to gain a foothold in the lower dense soil and provide the greatest bearing capacity. The installation of piles is carried out by screwing it, which does not require any earthwork, does not pollute the site at all, and after the installation of the entire foundation, further construction work can begin on the same day. In order for the foundation to fully acquire its bearing capacity for mandatory that the screw piles are completely undergoing a water -bearing layer. Otherwise, it can be violated over time and the elimination of this will require great efforts. That is why before construction it is worth contacting specialists in order to conduct geological research of your site. When choosing the length of the screw pile, not only the level of groundwater is taken into account. The depth of freezing of the soil is also of great importance. If freezing occurs before groundwater, then in winter, under the influence of frosts, it will turn into ice, which will cause swelling and bloating. As a result, the design located on such soil will move. This is most often happening with buildings located on low -paced foundations. Pile-screw technology completely excludes any deformation and progress, since the support of the foundation in this case is significantly lower than the freezing zone.
